I specialize in helping individuals and couples with attachment and relationship difficulties. This includes treating physical, emotional and sexual trauma. I am committed to working with my clients to improve interpersonal effectiveness, reduce emotional distress and dysregulation. Self-care is not a neglect for others' needs. It is extending the same concern and empathy for your needs, that you offer others.
As a therapist I am passionate about self-care. I practice self-care by traveling, hiking South Mountain and Sedona. Playing with my dogs, running and lifting weights. I love exploring museums, playing in waterfalls, trying new foods and immersing myself in different cultures. I have lived in 3 countries and hold three citizenships. I believe this gives me a unique perspective and affords me the ability to offer you a non-judgmental environment in which you will be listened to and respected. I sincerely believe that each person has something to offer this planet. I offer supportive feedback and encouragement and I will challenge some long-held views that may be impeding your growth.
How can I help? If you struggle with fear of abandonment, unstable relationships and self-image I can help. If you struggle with not feeling good enough, have chronic feelings of unworthiness, difficulty setting or enforcing boundaries, have been the victim of narcissistic abuse, sexual, physical or emotional abuse, the need to be perfect, and negative self-comparisons then I am the therapist for you. I specialize in helping clients to uncover core issues and powerful programming rooted in the past that may be impacting choices and behavior in the present. The focus will be on helping you to achieve the mental well-being you deserve.
