“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” Maya Angelou

The point of life is to become the best version of yourself, to share wisdom and love with others, and to have fun along the way. This belief guides my work as a clinician, where I challenge the notion that others know better than you do about the answers to your most confounding questions. As Carl Jung wisely said, “If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.”

I am a therapist with New Point of View Counseling, licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. My journey began at the University of Colorado, where I studied Visual and Performing Arts, and later earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in 2021.

I specialize in helping clients navigate complex challenges such as substance abuse, co-occurring conditions, trauma, anxiety, depression, mood and eating disorders and body image concerns. My practice also includes supporting clients through a variety of relationship challenges such as infidelity, Codependency, Narcissistic Abuse, Divorce, and other relational dynamics. I provide an LGBTQIA+ affirming, safe space for individuals from all walks of life.

In my practice, I draw from a variety of approaches, including Polyvagal/Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, DBT, EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, while integrating other evidence-based modalities to suit each client’s unique needs. My goal is to guide clients toward a deeper understanding of how trauma and chronic stress shape their lives, empowering them to create meaningful transformations in their body, mind, and spirit.

My approach to therapy is rooted in a non-pathologizing perspective. I guide my clients in exploring the origins of their suffering through a trauma-informed lens, shifting the focus from 'What’s wrong with you?' to 'What happened to you?' Modern life often forces us into 'survival mode,' a state that exacerbates the impacts of trauma and chronic stress. I work with clients to examine their relationships with systems of oppression and feelings of powerlessness, helping them rediscover their ability to create lives that serve them rather than work against them. You are far more powerful than you may realize, even if life’s challenges have made it difficult to see this truth.

It is a privilege to support my clients in their journey of rediscovery and healing. Together, we work to create a path that is authentically theirs, leading to greater clarity, resilience, and joy. I look forward to working with you. Please give me a call to begin your journey forward.

“Where your fear is, there your task is.” Carl Jung
